At the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, DC, Elon Musk from Tesla, Jensen Huang from Nvidia, and Saudi officials jointly announced a large scale infrastructure investment to collaborate on building a 500-megawatt AI data centre in teh desert, also known as an "AI factory."

Musk said at the event at if AI continues to progress, ultimately work must become an interest rather than a means of livelihood.

He said that the robot will not be a gimmick or a concept, but the next generation labour force.

He also said "If you really want to eliminate poverty, the only way to do it is through AI and robots."

Jensen Huang spoke on the same topic, but mostly about the path of reaching the end point. He said in a short term, AI will only make people busier.

He gave an example that in the field of medical imaging, radiologists have not lost their jobs because of AI. Instead, many hospitals have received more patients due to the increased efficiency, and doctors are busier, as they spend more time on diagnosis, explanation and interaction with patients.
