Hong Kong's medal haul at the National Games continues-- Our athletes added 2 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze on this Sunday.

The 2 golds came from cycling and swimming, while triathalon and fencing gave Hong Kong the silver and the bronze.

We start our coverage with cyclists Ceci Lee and Chloe Leung, who were crowned champions in women's Madison event.

Contested by 13 teams -- each with two riders.

Donning lake-blue jerseys, Hong Kong's golden girl Ceci Lee teamed up with Chloe Leung.

Unlike individual cycling track events, the Madison demands teamwork.

Two teammates take turns to race and rest, and swap places via a handsling to enable smooth transition.

The race covers 120 laps, with points awarded every 10 laps.

At each sprint, the first four finishers earn 5, 3, 2, and 1 point respectively.

Team Hong Kong took the lead at about halfway.

Powering up in the 7th sprint, the pair scored the highest points.

Meanwhile, four teams had to leave the track for falling a lap behind.

Hong Kong and Beijing jumped to the top of the standings, after gaining 20 bonus points for finishing the "super sprint."

But Beijing didn't score on the decisive final sprint which awarded double points.

Hong Kong eventually clinched victory with 45 points, followed by Sichuan and Beijing.

The winning duo raised arms in triumph, and were showered with cheers and applause by home crowd.

They circled the track to thank the spectators.

Overcome with joy, Chloe Leung said she couldn't believe they made it when crossing the finish line.

She recalled she was a bit out of control during the early part, but her coach and teammates on the stand kept reminding her to take deep breaths.

She also expressed gratitude to her family members who came to support.

Ceci Lee did not speak to the press as she had to prepare for the upcoming Omnium event.

Earlier, she successfully defended her title in the road race.

She and Leung will receive a 1.5 million-dollar prize from the Jockey Club.
