The government and a theatre group organised a national security-themed drama to help increase the awareness and law-abiding concepts to the younger generation. Held in the Hong Kong City Hall in Central, the launching ceremony and premiere of the National Security Interactive School Drama was attended by some 400 guests including Secretary for Security Chris Tang and Secretary for Education Christine Choi Yuk-lin. Featuring an updated take on Stephen Chow's comedy classic The God of Cookery, the drama aims to appeal to primary school-aged audiences featuring national security mascots "Andy and the Security Bear". The drama incorporated scenarios that students may encounter in daily life and included interactive elements allowing youngsters to learn important concepts of national security. Choi said the Education Bureau will continue to collaborate with the Security Bureau to deepen the understanding of safeguarding national sovereignty among the city's youth. Meanwhile, the theatre group and the officials took the opportunity to encourage residents to take part in next month's Legislative Council elections. To promote national security knowledge to more people in Hong Kong, the government has joined hands with a theatre group to bring the drama to some 20 schools around the city in the next few months.
