She's done it again -- Siobhan Haughey has added another gold to Hong Kong's tally at the National Games.

The swimmer is crowned champion once more -- this time, at the women's 100-metre freestyle.

After dominating the race at the 200-metre freestyle just two days ago, Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey has proved herself unstoppable in the pool -- yet again.

This time, she vied for another title at the women's 100-metre freestyle.

Taking on lane four, her reaction time of 0.69 seconds was the second-slowest in the field.

But she still touched the wall at the 50-metre mark -- and powered up, surging 0.25 seconds ahead of Cheng Yujie.

Haughey eventually clocked 52.89 seconds to clinch gold, by a margin of 0.66 seconds, beating the national record holder from Shandong -- all witnessed by her parents.

After the competition, she says she's quite satisfied with her performance but she believes there's always room for improvement so she hopes this round of contests could be a stepping stone for her future progress.

As Siobhan stepped on the top of the podium once again, her parents snapped pictures for their pride and joy.

Haughey will next compete in the 50-metre freestyle and breaststroke.
