Hong Kong clinched gold in the National Games' Rugby Sevens men's final after beating strong rival Shandong 26 to 19.
It is the city's fourth gold medal in the national sports mega event.
Hong Kong was given the advantage of playing on home turf with the city's team greeted with thunderous applause.
The city led the game during half-time, but was briefly overtaken by Shandong at 14-12 with just a few minutes left to spare.
Hong Kong clenched back the lead at 19-14.
Shandong attempted a comeback but it proved too little too late.
Hong Kong ultimately seized first place winning 26-19.
