Taiwan clears debris from storm flooding and landslides

Residents cleared the debris from their homes in Taiwan, after more heavy rain fell from tropical cyclone Fung-wong that caused flooding and landslides.
A total of 95 people were injured around the island due to the storm that made landfall in southern Pingtung County Wednesday night.
Authorities had evacuated over 8,500 people from coastal and mountainous areas as the storm approached.
Northern coastal areas around the city of Yilan have had over a metre of rain since Monday.
Schools and offices were reopened around Taiwan after two days of closure in some areas.
