The Observatory forecasts the temperature in the city will drop to 13 degrees Celsius next Wednesday.
Weather authorities say an intense replenshiment of the northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coast of Guangdong on Monday. The weather over the region will become cool and windy in the middle of the week.
With the monsoon moderating, temperatures over the region will rise in the second half of next week.
