West Kowloon ferry ready for testing

The West Kowloon Pier begins trial operations today and will officially start service this Saturday, providing ferry service this Saturday, providing ferry service between the West Kowloon Cultural District and Central.
Starting from 8a.m. this morning, the operator is distributing 3,000 free one-way adult tickets and 500 pet tickets at West Kowloon Pier and Central Pier No. 8, usable this weekend.
The West Kowloon ferry ride takes about 8 minutes. On weekdays it runs from 8a.m. to 10p.m., with departures every 30 minutes between West Kowloon and Central; weekend service is extended to 11p.m.
Adult and pet tickets cost HK$20; children and elderly pay half price.
