The Observatory says Fung-wong will enter within 800 kilometres of Hong Kong around noon tomorrow.

Standby signal No.1 will be issued in the afternoon.

At 4 p.m., Fung-wong was centred about 190 kilometers east-northeast of Manila.

It is forecast to turn northwards over the northeastern part of the South China Sea.
