Ceci Lee successfully defends her cycling gold at National Games

Hong Kong's Ceci Lee won a National Games cycling gold medal for a second time when she beat 100 other riders at this morning's road race final. 

She was the winner at the last National Games' road race as well. 

For this edition, the 138.7 kilometre race started in Zhuhai. 

Lee thanked her six-strong team for their perfect tactics. She hopes Hong Kong residents can go and support the cycling team when they return to the city to compete in the indoor events. 

Lee said she had not performed well in the past year, so she put in extra efforts to train for these games. She believed that her hard work paid off.
