The General Administration of Customs in Beijing will move to restore three U.S. firms' qualifications to export soybeans to China, effective November 10th. An official statement says the three companies are farmer-owned cooperative CHS, global grains exporter Louis Dreyfus Company Grains, and EGT, a merchandising and export grain terminal operator. The move is based on an assessment of Washington's corrective measures and in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and international phytosanitary standards, authorities said. In a separate statement, the customs administration is to lift suspension of log imports from the U.S. on November 10th.
