The first phase of the Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles Scheme will roll out on November 15th, allowing approved Guangdong private cars to enter via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and park their cars at the airport's park-and-fly facility.

Located on an artificial island at the Hong Kong International Airport, the 24-hour, five-storey fully automated carpark provides 1,800 spaces initially.

Registered drivers under the southbound scheme can park here and then take transfer flights at the Hong Kong airport.

The site operates in a closed loop mode and travellers do not enter Hong Kong for local clearance.

During the first three days, parking will cost 100 dollars per day then 50 dollars per day thereafter.
