A rehabilitation van driver has died after being struck by a private car in Sha Tin this morning.
The driver, believed to be in his 60s, was working at the rear tail lift of the rehab vehicle when a private care reportedly drove into him from behind.
The impact left the back of the rehab bus badly damaged -- while the car's front end was crushed and its airbags deployed.
The man was rushed to hospital but was later certified dead.
The private car driver was injured and was sent to hospital.
Investigations are underway.
