The East Kowloon Cultural Centre, or EKCC is now officially open.
The new performing complex in Ngau Tau Kok is positioned as a leading hub for art and technology.
Housing five venues, the facility allows theatre troupes to have longer-term runs.
EKCC not only provides a range of professional equipment that supports the curation of programmes, it also aims to nurture homegrown talents, bringing transformative and captivating experiences to audiences.
17 programmes will be presented during the centre's opening session, featuring drone dance shows and electronic rock music.
