It was recently reported that Hong Kong's economy grew by 3.8% in the third quarter. Financial Secretary Paul Chan said in social media that Hong Kong's economic growth trend is positive, and he expects the full-year growth target to be achieved smoothly.

In a blog post, Chan noted that Hong Kong's exports continued to perform strongly, and the recovery in consumption accelerated.

Visitor arrivals continued to record double-digit growth, and the full-year economic growth target of 2% to 3% is expected to be achieved.

Chan also summarized his visit to Saudi Arabia, pointing out that there is significant potential for cooperation between the two sides in finance, innovation and technology, and assisting businesses in expanding overseas.

A delegation of approximately 40 people from the innovation, technology, and finance trade sectors signed several agreements or memorandums of understanding with local partners, facilitating exchanges and cooperation in areas such as innovation, technology, and fintech.

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council also signed a memorandum of understanding with a local digital cooperation organization to assist local startups and SMEs in using Hong Kong as a platform to expand into the Asia-Pacific market.
