CEO of Kai Tak Sports Park says main stadium is home for HK football team

The CEO of Kai Tak Sports Park John Sharkey said the main stadium has become a major venue for the Hong Kong Football Association, with a balance between sports and leisure.
Sharkey said, "he main stadium has already become the home for Hong Kong Football Association rep team games. We had a fantastic game with India, a fantastic game with Bangladesh. We are looking forward to hosting Singapore. We have had rugby sevens in this stadium. We had the first 15s of Hong Kong playing rugby last Friday at night. So there is real nice balance in there, we also balance that up with entertainment. It is really important that we have lots of big events and big mega events in Hong Kong, is part of the economic strategy of Hong Kong."
Hong Kong will host men's handball at the Kai Tak Arena from tomorrow.
Addressing concerns about the lighting in the facility, Sharkey assures it is now working properly.
