Beach volleyball kicked off National Games events in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is hosting the National Games for the first time, with beach volleyball taking place first in Victoria Park.
The first match was the Women's Group A, between Fujian Team 2 and Shanxi Team, with over a hundred spectators, mostly students.
Hong Kong has two women's pairs and one men's pair in the event. A women's pair made their debut at noon, facing Chongqing Team 2.
The final will be held next Tuesday.
This National Games is the first to be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, with Hong Kong hosting eight competition events and one mass participation event.
