Chief Executive John Lee departed for South Korea to attend APEC meeeting

Chief Executive John Lee has departed for South Korea to attend the APEC leaders' Informing Meeting.

On Friday, Lee will participate in an informal dialogue between APEC leaders and the host country's guests in Gyeongju, as well as a dialogue with members of the APEC Business Advisory Council, and attend a welcome dinner. 

On Saturday, he will attend the APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting. During the meeting, he will hold bilateral talks with leaders of other economies to exchange views on issues of common concern. Lee said he will share Hong Kong's experience in promoting artificial intelligence and technological innovation. 

Lee will return to Hong Kong on Sunday. In his absence, Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki will be Acting Chief Executive.
