Described as the most powerful storm seen in the Atlantic this year, Hurricane Melissa is set to slam into the island nation of Jamaica.

The Category 5 storm is also on track to slam into the island of Cuba with forecasters saying it will bring with it destructive wind, powerful storm surge and catastrophic rainfall.
