The National Games torch relay will be held on November 2nd. In the Hong Kong leg, the route will start at the Tamar Government Headquarters and finish at the Kai Tak Sports Park.
The torch relay will span Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Macao and Shenzhen, with 50 torchbearers participating in each city.
Torchbearers in the Hong Kong leg will include representatives from the sports community, youth, persons with disabilities and ethnic minorities.
The route will cross both sides of Victoria Harbour, passing through Tamar Park, the Central and Wan Chai waterfronts, Golden Bauhinia Square, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
In addition to running, the relay will also use a ferry and an open-top bus, and the entire relay will take about two hours.
