Several vessels continued to remove the remaining debris of the Emirates cargo plane that crashed earlier resulting in two deaths.

The Guangzhou-based salvage vessels returned to the crash site at around 10 a.m. today, successfully removing the aircraft's left wing at around 2 p.m.

By around 5 p.m., the entire first half of the plane was lifted and placed of a vessel.

Two of the plane's black boxes that hold the aircraft's communication records were salvaged earlier, with an investigative report set to be published in one month's time.

The incident happened on Monday when the Emirati aircraft exited the runway upon landing, before hitting a patrol car and pushing it into the sea.

The accident resulted in the deaths of both passengers on the vehicle.
