Premier Li Qiang has concluded his first trip to Singapore and vowed joint efforts to strengthen development alignment for a more just and equitable world order.

Li pointed out during talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong that Beijing's upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan is expected to provide crucial opportunities for the two nations.

Li said China stands ready to expand key cooperative projects such as the Suzhou Industrial Park and the Tianjin Eco-City.

Wong, meanwhile, voiced Singapore's confidence in China's development prospects as well as its support for the Global Development Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping.

In a separate meeting with Acting President Eddie Teo, Premier Li said China is willing to work with Singapore and other countries to usher in the success of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0.
