Carshed plane salvage operation continues

An Emirates cargo plane overran the runway and struck a patrol car last Monday, causing two deaths. It is now the fourth day of the salvage operation and the airport's north runway remains closed.
Around 7a.m., more than ten personnel took small boats to board the salvage vessel. The tail section that was previously recovered is stilll on the ship.
As for the plane's nose, it remains beached on the shoreline. Personnel in reflective vests are present on land.
The two "black boxes", the flight recorder and the cockpit voice recorder, were recovered earlier and sent to a laboratory for examination. A preliminary report is expected within a month.
