The tail of the plane has been retrieved, while the front of the aircraft still lies near the breakwater.

The patrol car that was pushed into the sea by the aircraft has also been found.

Just yesterday, the salvage team managed to recover one of the plane's engines and its landing gear, while the Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority said it successfully retrieved two of the cargo aircraft's black boxes.

Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan thanked the salvage and investigative teams for their efforts and praised their professional attitude.
