Hours after President Donald Trump announced an end to all trade negotiations with Canada due to anger over a Canadian TV ad about US tariffs, Canada's prime minister struck a note of calm, saying Ottawa is ready for more talks "when the Americans are ready to have those discussions."
And New York Attorney General Letitia James has pleaded not guilty in federal court to charges of mortgage fraud in a criminal case pushed by President Trump.
