Concerning the Emirates cargo plane crash, which killed two airport staff aboard a patrol car, cargo plane company representatives have met with the Airport Authority and family of the victims with whom they discussed possible compensation arrangements. The salvage vessel has been working for two days at the crash site of the Emirates cargo plane. Starting Thursday night, another salvage ship also began assisting in the search to recover the aircraft's flight data recorder -- commonly known as the black boxes. Objects including what appeared to be an aircraft engine and parts of the landing gear were lifted from the sea. While the cargo plane's company has sent a representative to meet with the family members of the deceased, the labour rights group helping with the relatives says Emirates -- which rented the aircraft -- has not yet reached out to them.
