A rare tornado tore through a northern Paris suburb, killing one person and injuring four others.
The unexpected twister uprooted trees and damaged properties.
The town of Ermont, about 20 kilometres north of Paris, was one of the hardest hit, but the tornado caused damage in various other areas as well.
