Another owner of Redhill Peninsula fined 110,000 dollars over illegal building works

A homeowner at Redhill Peninsula has been fined 110,000 dollars after pleading guilty to carrying out illegal building works.

The owner of house No.70 pleaded guilty to building unauthorised structures, including a skylight, basement and swimming pool.

The maximum penalty for building structures without approval from the government is a fine of 400,000 dollars and two years imprisonment. 

The Eastern Court fined the owner 110,000 dollars, taking into account his guilty plea.
