Vance defends racist "jokes" by young Republicans

The U.S. Vice President has defended a group chat of young Republicans in which they use racists and misogynistic language.

Disparaging comments about Black, Latino and Asians appear in hundreds of messages with one saying they need the most right wing candidate and praising Adolf Hitler. Another endorses rape.

JD Vance says "kids should not be cancelled for making a joke." NBC reports.
