The agents chased the suspect until the cars stopped and their target attempted to run away on foot.

The Chicago Police Department confirmed federal agents deployed tear gas into the street.
Border Patrol agents can also be seen throwing tear gas canisters into the crowd as protesters cough and ran from the area.
