Walk Up Jardine House raises 5 million dollars for mental health

Today marks the 40th anniversary of Walk Up Jardine House.
More than 500 runners raced up 49 floors from the ground floor to the penthouse of Jardine House.
A total of 5 million dollars was raised for good causes.
Some 500 participants tackled the 947 steps of Jardine House. Among them were 70 sponsoring companies, as well as 24 NGOs and school groups.
Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun also took part in the event. The organiser said the donations will be used to promote mental health.
Chairman of MINDSET, CEO of Health & Beauty, DFI Retail ANDREW WONG said :" There are a couple of examples.There is a MINDSET place where we provide a midway of service for recovering persons before they can actually go home. We provide support so that they can stay in a place with social workers supporting them. "
