Fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong leaves a female pedestrian dead

A female pedestrian died after being struck by a light goods vehicle in Kwun Tong.
The fatal accident unfolded near the the intersection of Lei Yip Street and Kwun Tong Road at around 3 p.m. when the female pedestrian was walking past a marked crosswalk.
The woman sustained head injuries and was certified dead after being rushed to hospital.
More investigations are under way.
