NY attorney general indicted by grand jury as Trump goes after political foes

NBC News reports a federal grand jury in the U.S. has just indicted New York Attorney General Letitia James for one count of bank fraud and one count of false statements to a financial institution.

James had previously and successfully sued President Donald Trump in a civil case for hundreds of millions of dollars which was later overturned.

It is the latest escalation in Trump's public calls to prosecute those he believes investigated him for political reasons.
