The man who allegedly attacked a synagogue in the UK last week, claimed that he was working for Islamic State.
Jihad Al-Shamie, a 35-year-old British citizen of Syrian descent made the call, after driving a car into pedestrians and attacking
people with a knife at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester.
Armed officers shot dead Al-Shamie, who was armed with knives and what appeared to be an explosive belt.
Police may have caused one of two deaths, as one victim was shot dead, but Al-Shamie did not carry a gun.
