Bar Leone in Hong Kong was named the world's best bar -- also the first Asian bar to top the "World's 50 Best Bars" rankings.
Now in its 17th year, the "World's 50 Best Bars" awards ceremony was held in Hong Kong for the first time at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, attended by more than 1,000 bar investors and bartenders.
The ranking was voted for by a panel of 800 global bar experts, made up of bartenders, drink writers and cocktail professionals.
