During this year's Super Golden Week holidays, many travel destinations -- abuzz with Chinese tourists.
From this popular photo spot in Japan's Kamakura, to Sydney, Australia and Melbourne where visitors queued for the vintage steam train rides.

Beyond traditional tourist hotspots, Chinese tourists have increasingly explored off-the-beaten-path destinations.
They include Palau's Blue Holes, a renowned diving site.
In Switzerland, karting tracks were full of mainland tourists too, sometimes causing a "traffic logjam".
Also filled with tourists was the Matterhorn and its Alpine photo spots.

The holiday encouraged many to take additional leave before or after the official eight days, extending their vacations to ten days or more.
China's National Immigration Administration had projected an average of over two million border crossings per day, a number boosted by visa-free agreements with several countries.
Overall, a record-setting 2.4 billion trips were logged across China during the holiday.
