Two people died in Tai Po car crash

Police arrested a car driver after two people died and two others were injured after a crash in Tai Po.
The incident happened on Po Heung Lane near a roundabout.
The police received reports around 4 p.m. of a car hitting a stationary truck while driving near the roundabout, with the truck subsequently ramming into two female pedestrians.
A 37-year-old foreign national died when she was trapped between a lamp post and the truck, resulting in serious injuries across her body.
The other 88-year-old woman died in hospital after she sustained serious head injuries and lost consciousness.
Two others suffered minor injuries.
The 60-year-old driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death.
