Matmo hit Guangdong and Hainan

Tropical Cyclone Matmo landed at Zhanjiang City in Guangdong on Sunday, bringing severe wind and rain to the western end of Guangdong and parts of Hainan Island.
Tens of thousands were evacuated to shelters before the storm hit, including those in Hainan's provincial capital Haikou, who live in high-risk areas such as rundown buildings and low-lying flood-prone areas.
High-speed and normal intra-city railways were halted during the weekend, and gradually resumed operations upon the weakening of Matmo.
After hitting Guangdong and Hainan, the storm landed in Guangxi, drenching both the autonomous region and also parts of Northern Vietnam.
