Protests in Portland escalate over National Guard deployment in blue states

In the United States, tensions have escalated over the military being deployed in blue states. 

Protests and arrests have been made overnight in Portland as Trump activated not the Oregon National Guard but California's National Guard. California has threatened to sue.

And in Chicago protests turned violent as a woman was shot by federal agents, as boots on the ground there is imminent.
