Also packed with travellers was the West Kowloon high-speed rail station, whether it's the arrival hall, or the departure concourse.
During the eight-day National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival Golden Week, the high-speed rail is arranging 13 extra pairs of short-distance trains every day.
Today there are 120 pairs of trains running between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and mainland cities, the highest number of train services operated in a single day since the opening of the Hong Kong section of the high-speed rail.
