Flag raising ceremony to celebrate 76th anniversary of founding of PRC

A flag raising ceremony was held at Bauhinia Square in Wanchai to celebrate the anniversary.
The ceremony started at 8 am, and was attended by Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Leung Chun-ying, Chief Executive John Lee, Director of Beijing's Liaison Office in Hong Kong Zhou Ji and other senior officials.
Former Chief Executives Carrie Lam and Donald Tsang were also present.
Boats from the Fire Services Department also joined the celebrations on Victoria Harbour.
