Flag-raising ceremony in Beijing commemorating National Day

A flag-raising ceremony commemorating National Day took place this morning in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
At around 6:00 a.m., a trumpeter from the PLA Military Band sounded the flag-raising horn from the city wall.
The Tiananmen Flag Guard marched into the square, watched by a large crowd.
When the national anthem began, the crowd sang along.
As the national flag reached the top of the pole, peace doves were released.
