Chinese ambassador tells Washington to stop saying Taiwan's status is "undetermined"

Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng said Washington should exercise extra prudence on the Taiwan question as it bears on the political foundation of China-U.S. relations.
Xie said the U.S. should stop spreading the fallacy that Taiwan's status is "undetermined."
The ambassador was speaking at a reception celebrating the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
He reiterated that China and the U.S. need to properly handle differences and be champions of peace and stability. He said when China and the U.S. work together, the world feels reassured.
