300 EV charging spaces to be added at car parks of MTR shopping malls

The MTR Corporation plans to add 300 electric vehicle charging spaces at car parks in its shopping malls. The MTR says all of its mall car parks are already equipped with EV charging facilities.
The additional charging equipment is expected to be installed by the middle of next year.
Once completed, the total number of charging points will double to around 600.
The company says it will continue to monitor public demand in line with the government's timetable for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Vehicle Scheme, which allows mainland cars to travel south into Hong Kong.
