2 warships from People's Liberation Army Navy arrived in Hong Kong

The People's Liberation Army Navy's Qi Jiguang and Yimeng Shen warships arrived in Hong Kong this morning. Residents with tickets can visit them at the Ngong Shuen Chau naval base tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

Around 8 a.m., two warships appeared east of Hong Kong Island.

The first sighting was the training ship Qi Jiguang, hull number 83, which entered Victoria Harbour from Lei Yue Mun.

Following closely behind was the new amphibious landing ship Yimeng Shan, hull number 988. They were in Hong Kong during their long-distance training mission.

The Qi Jiguang, at 163 meters long, is the PLA Navy's largest and most modern specialized training ship. The Yimeng Shan is 210 meters and boasts a strong carrying capacity and a long range.
