More traffic fines to be adjusted in 2026

Authorities will also adjust fixed penalty for several traffic violation acts starting from January 1st, 2026.
For instance, the fine for illegal parking will go up from the current 320 dollars to 400. For speeding, drivers will face a fine of between 480 and 1,500 dollars, depending on the level of severity.
The government says the goal is to enhance the deterrent effect.
