HK to tighten vet regulations this week

The Veterinary Surgeons Board announced that from Monday, all veterinary clinics will be required to display the names of their vets in a prominent position.
Practices must also report a fixed practice address for public inspection.
A vet will be prohibited from providing remote services if they have not conducted a physical examination in the past six months.
Regulations towards alternative treatments for animals will be tightened as well.
The period for disciplinary orders issued after March 26th this year will be extended from one year to three years.
