Six arrests after armed gang of robbers storm jewellery store

Dozens of robbers stormed a jewellery store in California and made off with sacks full of merchandise estimated at over one million US dollars.
Around thirty people, mostly in black and wearing masks, went into the store in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Some carried guns, others used pickaxes to chop into the glass displays and steal jewellery.
The thieves were briefly trapped inside the shop when the emergency door locked, but they shot their way out.
They then ran to stolen cars waiting outside.
Some were tracked by the police.
Six adults and a child have been arrested.
The video has sparked a wave of sympathy from people in the neighbourhood for the outlet, which plans to reopen over the weekend.
