During the storm yesterday, three members of a family of four fell into the sea while watching waves in Chai Wan.

It's found that the first rescuers are two Shenzhen fishermen -- a father and son.

A 38-year-old mother and her 5-year-old son were swept into the sea by the waves while T8 was in force.

The 40-year-old father later jumped into the sea to rescue the pair, but failed.

They were later rescued by a father and son, who are fishermen from Shenzhen.

It's revealed that they were transporting tyres to reinforce their boat against the typhoon.

The Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Fishermen Association praised their bravery and will report their actions to authorities for commendation.
