Floodwaters wreaked havoc in Tseung Kwan O, Sai Kung and Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel

The Drainage Services Department has received 12 flooding reports so far.
They include Heng Fa Chuen, Tong Chun Street in Tseung Kwan O and areas near Shing Mun River and Lam Tsuen River.
In the Southern District on Hong Kong Island, a storm surge shattered a glass door at a hotel next to Ocean Park.
The dramatic moment was captured in this video. A man was swept off his feet by the incoming torrent.
It is understood that the incident occurred in the middle of the night at the seafront lobby of The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel, with water reaching calf deep.
After daybreak, the impact caused by the storm surge -- even more salient with rubble, glass shards and mud.
The hotel says there were no reports of injuries to guests or employees and it has stepped up clean up efforts.
Also being inundated are the footpaths near Shing Mun River in Sha Tin with its bicycle track fully submerged.
The coast of Tseung Kwan O was also devastated by Super Typhoon Ragasa.
They include the waterfront park and restaurants.
Some parents took their children to the shore and were asked to leave by the police.
Another Tseung Kwan O Park was also turned into a swimming pool due to the storm.
In Sai Kung, multiple yachts were half submerged.
The Observatory said that the water level had generally risen to 3.4 meters or above in the morning, and was expected to reach its highest in 1 to 2 hours.
